James J. Henson, Esq.
Mr. Henson is a Senior Managing Director and General Counsel of RED Capital Group, LLC. Mr. Henson held the same positions at RED from May 2010 through May 2013.
Immediately prior to rejoining RED, Mr. Henson was a Principal in Pelerin Financial, a legal and financial consulting firm. Mr. Henson was a Principal of Stonehenge Financial Holdings, Inc., a firm engaged in merchant banking and asset management since 1999 and, prior to joining Stonehenge, was Vice Chairman and General Counsel of Banc One Capital Holdings Corporation, the parent of RED’s predecessor entity, from 1989 through 1999. Through its subsidiaries, Banc One Capital Holdings Corporation engaged in investment and merchant banking, securities and insurance brokerage, investment management and trust services, and commercial mortgage lending and servicing. Prior to 1989, Mr. Henson was a partner in Meuse, Rinker, Chapman, Endres & Brooks, a regional investment banking firm that was the corporate predecessor to Banc One Capital Holdings Corporation. Mr. Henson served as corporate counsel and worked in the finance area, with an emphasis on complex structured financings and bond refundings. Mr. Henson is a Registered Securities Principal.
Mr. Henson received his bachelor’s degree from Wittenberg University in 1975 and graduated from The University of Dayton School of Law in 1979.
