Columbus, OH, November 9, 2007 – Comprehensive capital provider RED CAPITAL GROUP opened an office recently in Syracuse, New York, hiring experienced multifamily professional John Cook to help build the firm’s presence in the area.
Cook joined RED’s mortgage banking entity, Red Mortgage Capital, Inc. and will focus on originations. James F. Croft, President and COO of Red Mortgage Capital, Inc. said, "John is an experienced professional having an extensive knowledge of financing commercial multifamily and seniors housing properties. We will be looking to him to significantly expand our presence in upstate New York."
John F. Cook has over 30 years of experience in the mortgage industry and was previously employed as Managing Director of Commercial Lending and Conventional Lending Services with Quaker Capital, LP and prior to that held officer positions with Richmond County Savings Bank, New York Community Bank, Home Federal Savings Bank and Fleet Bank.
